The current owner created jigs to enable them to print book edges.

The 12-Inch Clearance Advantage: Standard UV flatbed printers have a shallow clearance (often only 2 to 4 inches). The Compress iUV 1200-S features an unusually deep 12-inch (305mm) gantry clearance.

Flatbed Design: Because it is a flatbed printer with a large printing area (1150mm x 750mm) and adjustable media height up to 300mm (12 inches), it can accommodate pre-bound books, diaries, or individual hardcover/softcover blocks directly on the bed.

Jigs and Positioning: You can place custom jigs or print a direct placement border on the flatbed table to line up multiple book spines or covers in a single production run.

UV Curing: The LED-UV ink cures instantly upon exposure, allowing direct printing onto cardstock, leather, synthetic materials, plastics, or pre-wrapped hardcovers.
